The newsteps series features emerging choreographers who are creating new and in-progress work. This semi-annual program, est. 1994, has presented over 160 artists and is dedicated to providing support and performance opportunities for experimental, innovative, and risk-taking artists. A reception follows the opening night performances on Thursdays, and a post-performance discussion with the artists on Fridays.
